Blood of Us is a Doom/Gothic project. The band starts in the end of 2016 as a doom/death metal project between JM and Alfredo Alfonzo. After making 12 songs, the project was laid to rest for a while. In 2019 JM continued as a solo project adding that gothic touch into the mix. The recording of the 1st record started in 2020, 6 new songs and 2 from the previous work were recorded in early 2020 by JM, Carlos Damiano and Francesco Antonelli. “Here Comes the Fall” (briefly called “The Storm we Caused”) saw the light in October 30th, 2020. It's a journey into the end. It goes through 8 phases of depressed, haunted, and dark songs. The end is always the beginning. A new album is released on September 9th, 2022 “LAVERA”. 8 more songs that entwine a diverse range of styles from gothic, doom and prog. The same team recorded LAVERA. F. Antonelli wrote "Ex-203" and C. Damiano handled the duty in "Eternal" which saw a really different side in Blood of Us (both musically and lyrically).
