His 2018 album 'Almost Transparent Blues' received accolades worldwide and reached No 1 for 5 weeks in the Roots Music Report UK Album Charts and Top 30 in the coveted Roots Music Report U.S. Blues Album Charts
Working with multi-instrumentalist E. D. Brayshaw, the album 'The Roads We Ride' charted worldwide (#150 in the Roots Music Report Contemporary Blues Charts across all albums in the genre released in 2019). They received spectacular reviews with the track 'The Ballad of Johnny & Louise' also reaching No 1 in the prestigious Netherlands' Hit-Tracks Top 100
In 2021, Wily will be working with E D Brayshaw on their next release, 'Some People Kill for Passion', which will again feature their dark Americana, Gothic noir, swampy blues tales and soaring guitar solos which have heavily featured in his recent 'live' shows with both his Acoustic Band and his Electric Band
